After the students have heard The Story of the StarHearts, have them work in group and create a performance based on one aspect of the book. For example, they can make up a story about how the StarHearts are helpful in problem solving. Encourage them to use their imagination and see what they come up with.

Students are familiar with the news. How about suggesting a good news broadcast. Talk with them about StarHeart people—what are they like, what kinds of things do they do. They can interview people who live with a spirit of happiness and positive actions. Have students work in teams and create a publication.
