Be a StarHeart Ambassador

Dear Teachers,

First of all, I would like to thank you for all you are doing to help educate our children. In today’s world, that is not an easy task. I know—I was an elementary school teacher for four years. It was during this time that the idea for The Story of the StarHearts came to me.

From my own teaching experience, I enjoyed working with my students in hands on activities as often as possible. That is why I am offering some suggestions for how you can use The Story of the StarHearts in your classroom.

Using The Story of the StarHearts will:

  • Enhance self-esteem and self worth

  • Create more harmony in the classroom

  • Focus attention on good news

  • Improve behavior—treating each other with respect

Art Activity
Using a template for a large star, you can have your students “color” the stars with their handprints—a red handprint in the center for the “heart” and the points of the star in yellow handprints.
